Riddles of Gold - Tutorial and Cutscenes in Development


Hey guys, what's up? DragonSkies here, with a relatively short update.

Cutscenes are coming together and the tutorial's basically completely done. With this game I wanted to go for a style that blends Ace Attorney (because of how hilariously over the top the entire game is) and Deltarune (because the gameplay is engaging while still showcasing fun characters). I think I've done that pretty well, while also adding a unique fantasy flair and juicy bullet patterns.

The top image shows a cutscene dialogue sequence (with a sprite drawn in the early hours of the morning) while the bottom shows the combat dialogue box.




Of course, everything will be developed further over time, but as far as I'm concerned this system is DONE when it comes to the v0.2 update.
